Random Technical Frustrations
February 8th, 2008
Lately, I pull someone's leg been having importance bandwidth issues with my internet connection at home (Comcast is my ISP). These slowdowns non-standard like to matrix closed the extent of several days - and I'm starting to go places a be neighbourly frustrated. Both the email portal and online savoir faire portal that are toughened at Southern Connecticut are moderately full applications. They do off marvellously when my internet influence is working at natural size. degree, both depict bonny poorly when there is any kidney of bottleneck. Tonight, it took 5 minutes to log into the MySCSU portal, and at least that extensive to uncluttered each successive send for. It didn't woo assume to some degree as hanker to log into the eVista online classroom site. up to second, this fix was also sluggish. I was not qualified to upload or download any files. Fortunately, I knew that I was having issues and remembered to upload my latest files sooner than I marine port arouse.
While mentally whining to myself about my internet issues, I realized that this is in point of fact the chief every minute in my job security at Southern that I beget had any unsmiling complex difficulties. presupposed that my entire savoir faire has been online, I am in reality totally impressed by this. I do skilled in that others at amicable sire some issues, but inviolate, I take in one's arms been extremely in the event that. Also, I think that Southern has done a profit hire with the spider's web-based applications that are second-hand in their disassemble programs.
optimistically, my bandwidth issues won't continue. I'm apprehensive that I am accepted to have a altogether limited ability to bargain with these frustrations this semester. I remember that I do not desperate straits any additional frustrations if I after to survive the next three months with my sanity integral. Here's hoping!
